Would it be advised to switch the ordering on my sections as well? I've been thinking about reordering to Skills -> Projects -> Work Experience -> Education as I don't believe my work experience will hold too much weight. In this recent iteration, I removed some languages and technologies I haven't touched in a while, such as C/C#/Python/Java, but plan to add them back in as I brush back up on them. I limited down my work history to the recent few years to help reduce everything to one page and I believe I applied the STAR method as best I can.

The plan here will be to have 2-3 different working resumes with the project sections tailored with languages/frameworks relevant to the position applied.Īt 31 years old, this is also a career change. I know the current project section isn't very strong.

I am currently working on some side projects to help boost that section as I don't feel I have anything impressive to show directly from coursework. I was working full-time through school and do not have any relevant work or internship experience. I am a recent CS graduate as of August 2022 and haven't made it past the resume check yet in about 100 applications since I graduated. I'm looking for a peer roast/review of my resume.
